Dozens of new services appear every day: “the best planner”, “the smartest AI assistant”, “super-tasker”, “revolutionary cloud notepad”… And you sit in front of the screen with 12 tabs open and think: Do I need any of this at all?
In 2024, choosing digital tools is like putting together a digital first aid kit. It is not “what is fashionable” that is important, but “what works for you”.
Here are 3 simple criteria to help you decide:
1. Convenience for you personally.
Not for the author of the review on YouTube. Not for “successful people on Twitter”.If you are really comfortable working in Google Docs, you don’t need to forcibly move to a complex all-in-one service.
2. Logic.
If you spend an hour trying to figure out the interface, then it’s not for you. A good tool is intuitive.
3. Minimum is better.
You don’t have to use 5 services for each task. One for notes and tasks. One for files. One for communication. That’s it.
Tip: start with tasks, not with services. Not “which tracker to choose?”, but “how is it convenient for me to see my tasks every day?” Not “which AI is cooler?”, but “where can it really save me time?”
Less is more. And let all these fashionable platforms first prove that they are worthy of taking a place on your screen.
